Rules for schools and preschools

The school operator is responsible for a safe environment for pupils and staff.

You need to assess the risks wherever children and vehicles meet – at entrances, access roads and on the playground – and follow up on the measures you take. Emergency services must always be able to get through, and on the street outside, the municipality decides. Local rules apply. Can the bollards be removed when vehicles need access?

Yes. Removable bollards with lock are lifted out with a key when deliveries or emergency services need to get in. The ground sleeve is included with the removable bollard with lock shown in the middle.

Can we install speed bumps on the street outside the school?

On public roads, the municipality decides. On the school’s own access road and car park, the property owner decides.

Can you come and take a look on site?

No, we’re a purely online shop. A photo and a simple sketch are almost always enough for a good proposal – and that keeps prices down.
