Build your universal railing
Draw the railing as it will stand, choose the mounting and options – sections, brackets, couplings and bolts are calculated automatically and the whole parts list goes into the basket.
Length
Straight run. Enter the length or use the slider – we fill it with standard sections to the nearest lower length.
Shape and length
Start from a shape or build run by run. The railing is built from standard sections in 100 mm steps – contact us if you need it to the millimetre.
Mounting
Choose by surface. The number of fixings is calculated from the drawing – single at the ends, double where sections meet.
Corners and ends
Options
A kick plate stops goods and feet from slipping under the railing. A gate gives passage without breaking the protection.
If you need an exact length you can cut a section on site and join it with a splice kit. One kit per cut section – it contains splices for both the thick tube (42 mm, SK4200) and the middle rail (27 mm, SK2700).
Finish
Hot-dip galvanised to SS-EN ISO 1461 is in stock. Painted railings are made to order – choose a colour and we quote the whole drawing.

Description
Universal railing Standard is a modular safety railing for industry, warehouses, garages and car parks. The railing is built from railing sections in six standard lengths (400–2,000 mm), 1,100 mm high with posts and top rail in Ø42 mm and a lower rail in Ø28 mm.
In the configurator you draw the railing as it will stand, choose the mounting for your surface and add corners, a kick plate and a gate. The parts list with sections, brackets, couplings and bolts is calculated automatically and comes with the order together with the drawing.

Frequently asked questions
Can I get an exact length?
The railing is built from standard sections (400/500/700/1000/1500/2000 mm), so every length in 100 mm steps from 800 mm can be built exactly. For millimetre adjustment you cut a section on site and join it with a splice kit (SK4200 for the thick tube and SK2700 for the middle rail) – choose the number of kits under Options in advanced mode and they are added to the parts list.
Which mounting should I choose?
Floor brackets on existing concrete, side brackets against a wall or edge, ground anchors in gravel and soil, cast-in for new concrete, L-wall brackets on a retaining wall and concrete footings when the railing should stand free or be movable.
Are bolts for the surface included?
Bolts, nuts and lock washers for the brackets are included in the parts list. Expansion bolts or chemical anchors for concrete and asphalt are chosen among the accessories below the configurator.
Can I change the drawing after ordering?
Yes, contact us with the order number before the order has been packed. Painted railings are made to order and cannot be changed once production has started.
