Tree Pit Foundation

A tree pit foundation is a stable, durable solution for protecting trees in urban environments. The foundation protects the tree’s root zone and provides strong edge support against adjacent ground surfaces and paving, reducing the risk of settlement and damage to both the tree and the paving.

The structure is cast in one solid piece for extra strength, a long service life and minimal maintenance. The tree pit foundation is available in two sizes and is ideally combined with structural soil to create optimal growing conditions for urban trees.

For a uniform, safe and functional tree pit system, the foundation can be supplemented with tree grates in matching dimensions. The result is an attractive, accessible and durable installation in streets, squares, parks and other public spaces.
