Concrete Bench Bergen

Bergen Bench

Bergen is a sturdy, sleek concrete bench designed by Berna Brandsaeter. It is a durable, long-lasting park bench for public spaces where function, comfort and Scandinavian design come together. With its clean, modern shape and the wear resistance of concrete, the Bergen bench is equally at home in urban settings and parks, on plazas, in courtyards and at entrances.

The clear geometry, straight lines and solid volume make Bergen both a practical seating element and an architectural feature in outdoor environments. The natural texture of the concrete adds a tactile feel and visual depth, creating a strong and lasting identity for the site. The minimalist design, with its smooth surface and distinct, sharp corners, reinforces the modern look and makes the bench easy to combine with other outdoor furnishings and urban fixtures.

The Bergen series also includes a concrete planter in the same design language, making it easy to create a cohesive, flexible and well-considered design for public spaces, walkways and entrances. Together, the bench and concrete planter form a harmonious whole that simplifies the planning of outdoor environments with a focus on sustainability and long service life.
